In-home dog training in Lenexa
Searching for a dog trainer in Lenexa, KS? KJT Gentle Dog Training provides certified, in-home positive reinforcement training for Lenexa families. I work with dogs of all breeds, from 8-week-old puppies to 10-year-old adults.
Every training contract begins with an assessment so I can understand your dog's history, your goals, and what's really going on before any formal training starts. From there, each package includes 6 sessions — all using 100% positive reinforcement. No choke chains, no shock collars, no intimidation.
I serve all of Lenexa, including neighborhoods near Lenexa City Center, Black Hoof Park, and communities throughout western Johnson County.
Why in-home training works
In-home training is more effective because your dog learns in the real environment — your living room, your backyard, your front door. That's where the habits form, and that's where we build better ones.
- Your dog learns in the environment where behaviors actually happen
- No stressful car rides or unfamiliar training facilities
- Your whole family can participate in every session
- Skills transfer immediately to real daily life
"Kelly was amazing with our dog. She came right to our home and worked with our whole family. We saw real improvement after just a couple of sessions."
