Every session uses 100% positive reinforcement — no choke chains, no shock collars, no intimidation. Just clear communication, patience, and a lot of treats. I welcome dogs of all breeds, from 8 weeks to 10 years old. The only dogs I'm unable to work with are those showing aggression, reactivity, or separation anxiety.
The KJT approach
I'm fully certified through Animal Behavior College in both Dog Obedience Training and Nuisance Behavior Modification — and KJT Gentle Dog Training holds an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. That means I don't just teach your dog to sit — I help you understand why your dog does what they do, and how to redirect it in a way that actually sticks. Positive reinforcement isn't just kinder. Behavior Boost
Best for dogs 6 months – 10 years

Address specific behavior challenges — jumping, pulling, or barking — with a customized plan built around your dog. All breeds welcome; not suitable for dogs showing aggression, reactivity, or separation anxiety.

Private Intensive
Deep-dive for complex challenges

Shelter & rescue dog discount
Adopting a rescue dog is one of the kindest things you can do. I offer discounts to help you and your new dog get the best possible start together.
Any dog adopted from a shelter or rescue organization qualifies for 15% off all training packages.
Dogs who spent six months or more in a shelter or foster care receive an additional discount — they've waited long enough.
